1. Introduction

The aim of this document is to inform future TLP Tenerife attendants the general terms and conditions of the event. Completing successfully the registration process for the TLP LAN Party zone or the attendance at the event in general automatically implies the acceptance of the whole rules detailed below. If you do not agree or have any questions regarding to any of the points, we recommend you contacting us via the contact area available on the website or sending an email to: info [@] tlp-tenerife.com. Innova7 reserves the right to modify in whole or in part these terms and conditions.

2. General Regulations

2.1 Admission

2.1.1 Tickets

2.1.1.1 Day Ticket TLP Tenerife

  • The day ticket for TLP Tenerife can only be purchased at the ticket office at the Recinto Ferial where the event is held.
  • The cost of the daily ticket for TLP Tenerife is €4.50.
  • Children under the age of 9 (inclusive) who are ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT do not pay entrance fees.
  • People over 65 do not pay entrance fees.
  • People who prove some kind of functional diversity do not pay entrance fees.

2.1.1.2 Weekly Ticket TLP Tenerife

  • The weekly TLP Tenerife ticket can only be purchased at the ticket office at the Recinto Ferial where the event is held.
  • The cost of the weekly TLP Tenerife ticket is €14.
  • Children under the age of 9 (inclusive) who are ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT do not pay entrance fees.
  • People over 65 do not pay entrance fees.
  • People who prove some kind of functional diversity do not pay entrance fees.

2.1.1.3 Gamer Ticket

  • The Gamer ticket can only be purchased through the website (www.tlp-tenerife.com)
  • The cost of the Gamer ticket for TLP Tenerife 2019 is €25.
  • Gamers over the age of 16 (inclusive), will be able to purchase their Gamer ticket at the start day of the event (July 16, 2019).
  • Individuals under the age of 16 will NOT be able to buy the Gamer ticket.
  • The registration process for Gamer ticket participants will be available for a period of time prior to the event.
  • Profiles of Gamer ticket participants who have not filled in their details correctly and whose profile is not validated will not be able to purchase their ticket.
  • The Gamer ticket DOES NOT GIVE ACCESS TO THE TLP LAN PARTY ZONE.

2.1.2 Registration for TLP Innova talks

  • Registrations for TLP Innova talks are free but they must be made through the website (tlp-tenerife.com) because of the places are limited and subject to availability.

2.1.3 Cancellation and refund

  • You are able to cancel your Gamer Ticket at any time prior to the opening of the event. If you wish to cancel it, please send an e-mail to info [@] tlp-tenerife.com with the subject “cancellation of registration” and the following information in the body of the message:
  • Identification number (telepero number) of the registration to be cancelled.
  • Reason for requesting the cancellation.
  • Bank account number for the refund of the registration fee via deposit/transfer (*).
    ( *) To be applied only when the registration identification number involves an associated payment previously identified; the refund conditions are detailed below.
  • Once the cancellation request has been received, it will be verified the amount of money paid associated with the identification number of the registration. If such payment exists, the total amount of it, less 15% for management fees, will be refunded by deposit / bank transfer, applying rigorously the following considerations:
  • The deadline for refunding the registration fees is June 31, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. Once the date has passed, although the registration is cancelled, under no circumstances is not the fee refunded
  • The Organization reserves the right to refund the fee in the following cases:
  • The refund request comes from a third person different from the one who receives the refund.
  • If the bank details provided in the cancellation email were erroneous.
  • By not providing the required documentation for underage people, as it is explained in section 3.1.1.3
  • The Organization do not refund the money if the participant is rejected for failure to carry out the terms and conditions described through this text or for committing any infraction, as detailed in paragraph 3.3.
  • Registration for TLP Innova talks can be reversed just by sending an email to info [@] tlp-tenerife.com.

2.2 Personal data and image rights

2.2.1 Data protection

  • In accordance with the provisions of Law 15/1999 of 13 December on the Protection of Personal Data, we inform you that the personal data provided by you through the registration form for the TLP Tenerife 2019 event ,shall be included in an automated file of public ownership registered in the Spanish Data Protection Agency with the name of “INSCRIPTION PARTICIPANTS EVENT”.
  • This file shall be property and responsibility of the socio-cultural association Innova7 and shall be used for the management and processing of the registration for the event TLP Tenerife 2019, as well as to inform you of new activities related to our association.
  • Completing and sending the registration form imply the acceptance of the processing of personal data for the purpose indicated in the previous paragraph.
  • You have the right to exercise the rights to access, rectification, cancellation and opposition at any time provided by law by sending an email to: Info@Innova7.org or by post to the following address: 58 Rambla Pulido, office 4, 38004.

2.2.2 Right to honour, privacy and personal reputation

  • The Organization or other entities with direct authorization of this one will film and photograph the event, as well as its assistants. This multimedia material shall be owned by the Organization and shall be used for informational purposes, although it may also be transferred to different means of communication the Organization considers opportune. Innova7 is not responsible for the recordings that can be made by the audience. The attendance and/or the registration to the event and therefore the acceptance of these terms and conditions entail the consent of the participant to be filmed and / or photographed within the limits of the site where the event takes place.
  • The Organisation shall act in accordance with the civil legislation in force, and the honour and dignity of the affected person will be respected as far as possible in every moment, as detailed in the Organic Law 1/1982 of 5 May.

2.2.3 Video recording and photography

  • For the purposes of legislation that protects personal data, as well as the right to self-image, we inform you that the entire Recinto Ferial de Santa Cruz of Tenerife as well as the Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín are areas of recording object by INNOVA7, MASS MEDIA AND SPONSORSHIP COMPANIES OF THE EVENT.
  • The event images, including the visitors, can be published on their respective websites, social networks or fan pages, and include them as contents in television programmes, device applications, advertisements, etc., and even include them in the personal data file/s of their respective ownership.
  • The access to the event facilities implies the EXPLICIT CONSENT of the clients for the use of their image for the purposes described.
  • If you wish to revoke your consent or exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition, you may do so at the addresses assigned by the mass media to the exercise of these rights, and in the case of INNOVA7, through the contact form on the website www.tlp-tenerife.com, including a photograph, information about the day of your visit and a photocopy of your ID card.

2.3 Liability exclusions

2.3.1 Security and theft

  • The Organization promise to adopt the necessary control and security measures to fulfil the applicable legislation.
  • To this end, the organization provides the participants and attendees with security offered by a company subcontracted for this purpose by the Recinto Ferial of Tenerife, the site where the event takes place.
  • Notwithstanding the above, the Organization shall not be responsible for any theft or robbery of materials or any other belongings, whether consumable, non-consumable or any other nature, of the participants in the event, and therefore, recommends not to leave their belongings unattended from your entry into the enclosure until your exit from it and during it.

2.3.2 Property damages

  • The Organization shall not be responsible in any case for the material damage that the belongings of the attendees may suffer during the event, whatever the cause of such damage.

2.3.3 Availability and use of the network

  • The Organization is not responsible for the content that users could upload / download or share among themselves or with third parties outside the event, whatever their nature be.
  • Each participant will be responsible for the use they make of the network infrastructure that the Organization puts at the service of the event. Likewise, the Organization will not be responsible for any loss of network connection that may occur throughout the event. The Organization shall not be responsible for any loss of connection that may be the result of the Internet service which is provided by a telecommunications company external to the event. Out of respect for the current intellectual property laws, the Organization may transfer the data of the network use to the corresponding authorities if they require it.

2.4 Right of admission

  • The Organization reserves the right to refuse admission as well as the permanence in the event. Uncivilized behaviour, vandalism, aggressiveness or behaviour that cause damage to other people’ property will be grounds for expulsion from TLP Tenerife.
  • It is not allowed to carry out commercial or advertising actions, explicit or hidden without authorization from the Organization. The advertising company will be the responsible.
  • It is strictly forbidden to justify hatred or expose any kind of political or religious ideology.
    Innova7 reserves the right of admission to the event to any person who, in its opinion, affects negatively or damages the image and good name of the organization, extending, but not limited to examples such as: slander, insults, verbal and physical aggression, personally and / or on social networks, discrimination, harassment and defamation of employees, customers, showcases, suppliers, writers, artists, actors, actresses and / or national and international guests.

3. TLP LAN Party Zone Regulations

3.1 Admission

3.1.1 Tickets

3.1.1.1 Standard Ticket TLP LAN Party

  • The standard ticket for the TLP LAN Party zone can only be purchased via the website (www.tlp-tenerife.com).
  • The Standard ticket for the TLP LAN Party zone costs €65.
  • People over the age of 18 (inclusive) at the start day of the event (July 16, 2019) will be able to purchase their TLP LAN Party zone ticket.
  • Individuals under the age of 16 are NOT allowed to participate in the TLP LAN Party zone.
  • The registration process for participants of the TLP LAN Party zone will be available for a period of time prior to the event.
  • The profiles of participants of TLP LAN Party zone who have not filled in their details correctly and whose profile is not validated will not be able to purchase their ticket.

3.1.1.2 Premium Ticket TLP LAN Party

  • The Premium ticket for the TLP LAN Party zone can only be purchased via the website (tlp-tenerife.com).
  • Premium ticket for TLP LAN Party zone costs €140.
  • People over the age of 18 (inclusive) at the start day of the event (July 16, 2019) will be able to purchase their TLP LAN Party zone ticket.
  • Purchasers of the TLP LAN Party zone premium ticket will be able to access to the Recinto Ferial one day before the begin day to drop their belongings at their place (July 15, 2019). They will NOT be able to access to the resting area or stay in the event.
  • People under the age of 16 may not participate in the TLP LAN Party zone.
  • The registration process for participants in the TLP LAN Party zone will be available for a period of time prior to the event.
  • The profiles of participants in TLP LAN Party zone who have not filled in their details correctly and whose profile is not validated will not be able to purchase their ticket.

3.1.1.3 Underage

  • Participants older than the age of 16 (inclusive) at the beginning of the event (July 16, 2019), must ENCLOSE WITH THEIR REGISTRATION FORM:
  • Authorization signed by their parents or guardian
  • Photocopy of their father’s, mother’s or guardian’s ID card.
  • Photocopy of their ID card.
  • Photocopy of the Family Register or certificate from the civil registry.
  • It is hereby stated that the Organization is not responsible for participants under the age of 18.
  • If the underage participant is emancipated, he/she must contact the Organization and prove that condition, sending to the e-mail address info[@]tlp-tenerife.com the original certificate of the literal birth certificate from the civil registry of their place of birth, accompanied by a photocopy of the ID card of the interested party.

3.1.1.4 Fees and forms of payment

  • The fee of any type of TLP LAN Party zone participant ticket (standard or premium) will be made in a single payment, ONLY ONLINE by credit card, debit card or iupay!
  • The registration for the event is for leisure and enjoyment, it is understood that, at no time, is for a commercial use.
  • If you wish a receipt of payment or an invoice, you must contact the Organization through info [@] tlp-tenerife.com
  • The Organization is not responsible for the incorrect use of the payment gateway (for example: buying the same ticket from two different devices).

3.1.1.5 Validation

  • Once the registration process has been successfully completed, the Organization shall validate each registration to verify the authenticity of the data provided. The following assumptions shall be applied in the validation process:
    Participants in the event, both those of legal age and those responsible for minors, declare that all information provided in the registration form as well as the additional information required by the Organization corresponds faithfully with reality.
  • If the Organization is aware of irregularities with respect to the veracity of the data, it will proceed with the withdrawal of the participant(s) of the event, without such circumstance implies the right of these to the refund of the fees paid.
  • The inscription is nominal. That is, only one registration per person is accepted and the change of owner in the same is not allowed. In cases where the information provided constitutes an offence under Spanish law, such circumstance shall be brought to the attention of the corresponding authorities.
  • Once the data have been verified, the final approval of admission is conditional upon payment of the participation fee, as it is described in section 3.1.1.4 of this document.

3.1.1.6 Cancellation and refund

  • Cancellation of registration is allowed at any time prior to the opening of the event. If you wish to cancel it, please send an e-mail to info [@] tlp-tenerife.com with the subject “cancellation of registration” and the following information in the body of the message:
  • Identification number (telepero number) of the registration to be cancelled.
  • Reason for requesting cancellation.
  • Bank account number for the refund of the registration fee via deposit/transfer (*).
    ( *) To be applied only when the registration identification number previously identified entails an associated payment, applying the refund conditions detailed below.
  • Once the cancellation request has been received, it will be verified the amount of money paid associated with the identification number of the registration. If such payment exists, the total amount of it, less 15% for management fees, will be refunded by deposit / bank transfer, applying rigorously the following considerations:
  • The deadline for refunding the registration fees is June 31, 2019 at 23:59 p.m. Once this period has passed, although the registration is cancelled, under no circumstances is not the fee refunded.
  • The Organization reserves the right to refund the fee in the following cases:
  • The refund request comes from a third person different from the one who receives the refund.
  • If the bank details provided in the cancellation email were erroneous.
  • By not providing the required documentation for underage people, as it is explained in section 3.1.1.3
  • The Organization do not refund the money if the participant is rejected for failure to carry out the terms and conditions described through this text or for committing any infraction, as detailed in paragraph 3.3.

3.2 Supporting Document

  • It is an INDISPENSABLE condition for the participants of the TLP LAN Party zone to attend the event with a computer equipment with desktop operating system (Windows, Linux or MacOS), either portable or desktop computer AND that it can be connected through an ethernet cable (with or without adapter). The computer must remain in its place while the participant is on the facilities of the event.
  • To the TLP LAN Party zone participants admitted to the event shall be given some identification stickers (exclusively intended for game consoles, laptops, desktops, monitors and televisions) upon arrival at the Recinto Ferial. These stickers are compulsory to use in the aforementioned equipment (in case of having them) and they will have a barcode which will be associated with their personal identification number. In addition, they will be necessary to leave the Recinto with the mentioned belongings. If for some reason, any sticker has been damaged or becomes detached, the participant must immediately contact any member of the Organization.
  • The TLP LAN Party zone participants must bring all the material that can be labelled (see previous paragraph) on the same day. No new labeling material shall be allowed to access except deterioration of the previous one.
    In addition, participants admitted to the TLP LAN Party zone will be provided with an entrance ticket, which will be their supporting document to enter exit the Recinto Ferial, as well as the different designated areas.
  • It will be an essential condition to carry out the accreditation in a clearly visible place at all times, for the corroboration of your identity by the Organization or the security personnel of the Recinto Ferial.
  • The absence of any means of self-identification as it is indicated in section 3.3, could entail the expulsion of the event.
  • In the event of the loss or deterioration of the accreditation document, the user must contact a member of the Organization who will indicate how they can obtain another one.
  • Only one change is allowed. That is, if this accreditation is lost or damaged again you will have to pay 50% of the ticket price, or to leave the event.
  • The accreditation is nominal. It may not be transferred to a third person, whether or not be a participant. This action will be considered a serious infraction (see section 3.3).
  • Although TLP Tenerife 2019 begins on July 16, participants of the TLP LAN Party zone will be able to access any other day later.

3.3 Performance standards and sanctions

  • A set of mandatory rules for TLP Tenerife 2019 participants will be listed below. The imposition of these regulations extends to all the areas of the event and the facilities of the Recinto Ferial (the entire block) and the Auditorio of Tenerife.

3.3.1 Inappropriate objects

  • The Organisation as well as the Recinto Ferial reserve the right to allow the entry of inappropriate objects which may damage the installations as well as hinder coexistence in the Recinto Ferial. In the event of being realizing the presence of such inappropriate objects during the event, the Organization reserves the right to retain them until the end of the event as well as sanction the participant.
  • Alcoholic drinks and any narcotic substance which may be regarded as illegal are prohibited. Under no circumstances will any substance that alters a person’s state of consciousness be allowed into the Recinto. The possession of such substances shall be punishable by serious infraction. If the Organization considers that the quantity requisitioned is excessive, it shall be considered a very serious infraction.
  • The TLP Tenerife 2019 Organization shall not accept the imprudent use of alcoholic drinks by “hiding” them in other containers. This is a serious infraction.
  • It is forbidden to be in a state of inebriation or under the effects of any narcotic drug. This is a serious infraction.
  • It is strictly forbidden smoking or vaping inside the facilities of TLP Tenerife 2019. If you wish to smoke, you can do it outside the area where the event takes place. It is considered a light infraction although smoking in the area of tents, because of the danger involved, is considered a very serious infraction.
  • Possession of any type of material potentially harmful to the participants’ health or their physical condition will not be allowed. The pyrotechnic material is included in the category of potentially harmful. This is a serious infraction.
  • It is forbidden to introduce any type of weapon categorized as such in the Recinto as well as the use or exhibition of this one, being considered a very serious infraction.

3.3.2 Infrastructure

  • It is expressly forbidden to touch or manipulate any element provided by the Organization as part of the infrastructure of the event, from the supply of the Recinto to the servers, network material, audiovisual, etc. This will be considered a serious infraction.
  • It is expressly forbidden to pass through areas signposted as impassable. This recommendation involves not only the individual’s own safety but also the safety of the rest of the participants. This action is considered a serious infraction.
  • Do not misuse the network. Remember that it is for the use and enjoyment of all the participants. Any attempt at unauthorized access, denial of service (DoS) attacks on Servers owned by the Organization or any other practice that endangers the security or stability of the electronic or computer infrastructure of the event, will be a serious or very serious infraction, depending on the severity of the damage.
  • All the facilities provided should be used properly. Inappropriate use of them will result in serious infraction.
  • It is forbidden to connect to the TLP LAN Party zone’s electrical network any element whose operation is based on electrical resistances. This applies to but is not limited to refrigerators, hair iron, hair dryers, coffee machines… The violation of this rule involves a light infraction.
  • Each participant could connect just one power strip to the network. Adding a second power strip in cascade connection will mean a light infraction.
  • It is forbidden to add a switch, router or any other network commuter to the Recinto Ferial network. This will be a light or serious infraction depending on the inconvenience caused.

3.3.3 Civility

  • There will be zero tolerance for aggressive behavior among participants within the enclosure. A fight or violent conduct will be considered a very serious infraction.
  • Lack of respect towards colleagues, the Organization or security personnel, as well as guests to the event will be considered a serious infraction.
  • Speakers are not allowed. Its use is considered a light infraction.
  • Ignoring the instructions of any member of the Organization and / or security personnel of the building will be a serious infraction.
  • The personal belongings of the other participants must be respected. DO NOT take anything without the owner’s consent. If any theft is detected, it will be considered as a serious infraction.
  • The lack of personal hygiene is a light infraction. In acute cases, it can be considered as a disrespect towards the rest of the participants and it will be a serious infraction if the Organization so decides.
  • The inspection of the contents of any container and/or the corroboration of any identity cannot be denied. In the case of a refusal, the corresponding authorities will be alerted to take the appropriate action, and this conduct will be sanctioned as a serious infraction.
  • Sexual activities will be relegated to the privacy of the tents. Executing this type of activity in any common area (including bathrooms and showers) will be a serious infraction.
  • The camping and resting areas should be kept as quiet as possible. Any unnecessary noise or disturbance will be penalized as a light infraction.

3.3.4 Sanctions

  • Should a participant breach the rules stated above, the General Terms and Conditions of the Event, or any other rule imposed by the Organization before or during the event, must assume the respective sanctions:
  • Committing an infraction considered as very serious will mean the immediate expulsion from the event and will be considered, according to the seriousness of the infraction, the lifelong expulsion of this person (without entitlement to register in future editions of the event).
  • The accumulation of 2 serious infractions will result in a very serious infraction, and the corresponding sanction will be applied.
  • The accumulation of 3 (three) light infractions will result in a serious one.
  • The Organization’s staff shall individually assess each case of infraction and shall sanction them as they consider appropriate. When the infractions constitute a criminal offence, the participant shall be placed at the disposal of the police.
  • Any sanction applied by a member of the TLP Tenerife 2019 Organization may be appealed (in a civic manner). It entails the joint assessment of it by several of the members of the Organization present in that shift. This second decision shall be unappealable.

3.4 Participant rights and recommendations

  • On Tuesday 16 July 2019, at the time indicated on the official website of the event, the doors of the TLP LAN Party zone of TLP Tenerife 2019 will be opened. Access can be made from the appointed time, throughout the day and on successive days until the end of the event.
  • Once the entry registration is completed, the participant of the TLP LAN Party zone is informed of the following basic rights included with the entry as well as the Organization recommendations:
  • You will have a place in the TLP LAN Party zone, with a chair, a socket and a network point.
  • Access to the resting area (sleeping-bag area) and other facilities (toilets, showers, etc.), 24 hours a day.
  • The enclosure will remain open to those registered in the TLP LAN Party zone 24 hours a day. They are able to entry and exit at any time showing their accreditation to those in charge of access and exit control .
  • They have at their disposal a unique and exclusively resting area. We remind you that the LAN TLP party area is not appropriate for sleeping. If any participant sleeps/rests in an area that has not been designated for this purpose, they do so at their own risk. If any participant wear sleeping belongings, it is recommendable to keep them by close, making use of them in the corresponding area.
  • They will have access to the Recinto Ferial’s lavatory facilities (toilets, showers, etc.).
  • Only one computer per user is allowed to access to the building. The participants can also bring a game console, which will be labelled like a computer.
  • The dimensions of each individual place are 90×60 cm.
  • Respect each other’s space. If, after trying to organize yourself with your partner next door, you haven’t been able to feel comfortable, just contact an organizer and ask them to assign you a new game place
  • It is everyone’s duty to avoid accumulating garbage as much as possible. Keeping a plastic bag close to a game place, the rest of the participants sited around can easily throw their garbage in it avoiding annoying odors, accumulation, etc.
  • Plan your rest. It is necessary to know before going to a TLP LAN Party how the resting system will be like. If you do not have a plan to sleep, get ready for it. Respect the resting belongings of other participants (mattresses, mats, sheets, pillows) until they give you permission to use it.

3.4.1 Camping Area

  • This year a camping area has been set up in the lower part of the Recinto Ferial, that is, the participants of TLP Tenerife 2019’s TLP LAN Party zone have a place where they can go to rest.
  • IN ORDER TO HAVE ACCESS TO THE CAMPING AREA IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO EXTEND THE PAYMENT OF THE STANDARD ENTRANCE TO A RESTING AREA ENTRANCE. THE ESTABLISHED PRICE IS €15 PER PARTICIPANT.
  • The Organization will provide tents of 2 people of capacity. Its measures are 1.20 x 2.00 meters. The allocation of spaces will be by participants choice, as long as the two members confirm each other. If no fellow is selected, the Organization will randomly assign participants who are not associated.
  • Remember that the camping area is mainly to rest, there will be people who are sleeping or who do not want to be disturbed during this period of rest between activity and activity. Be respectful of other people around you.
  • The Organization will evict, or even expel from the event, all participants who do not respect these conditions.

3.4.2 Resting Area

  • In addition to the camping area, there will be a resting area, in which participants can place only and exclusively their sleeping bags along with mats to rest.
  • The installation of any other camping gear is forbidden in this area. Sleeping bags should be rolled up once used.
  • It is completely forbidden to reserve space in this area, the Organization reserves the right to remove the sleeping bags that means space reservation.
